The Florida Trips program was established in 1995 to provide agencies with the ability to procure vehicles at the lowest price. This program is managed by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and administered by the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR). CUTR is focused on developing innovative solutions to transportation through the administration of policy, research support and technical analysis of vehicle components.
Transit Plus has been a partner of the Florida Trips program since it was established, selling more vehicles through this program than any other dealer in the state of Florida.
Transit Plus works with CUTR to provide the highest quality components and vehicles that are Altoona tested and certified to 5 years, 150,000 miles or 7 years, 200,000 miles.
